Use Cases

BeaconGuard is for workflows where AI can do more than generate content. The relevant boundary appears when an agent can create a consequential side effect in an enterprise system or external interaction.

Priority workflow patterns

Healthcare operational actions

Patient communication, scheduling, operational record updates, and bounded discharge operations where the exact side effect must be authorized without replacing clinical or EHR authority.

Financial workflow actions

AML/KYC, fraud, dispute, case-state, customer communication, and other customer-impacting actions where broad system access should not equal blanket action authority.

Regulated internal automation

Agents changing production systems, configurations, records, or external communications under exact-action, one-time, fail-closed authorization.

Use-case selection test

A strong BeaconGuard use case has four properties:

Not the target problem

BeaconGuard is not primarily a prompt filter, chatbot guardrail, model-evaluation platform, AI inventory, or general GRC repository. Those products may remain complementary. BeaconGuard's focus is the authorization boundary immediately before consequential execution.
